Ex-Servicemen Contributory Health Scheme (ECHS)

ECHS is a flagship Scheme of the Ministry of Defence, Department of Ex-Servicemen Welfare. The aim of the scheme is to provide quality healthcare to Ex-servicemen pensioners and their dependents.

Eligibility:

The scheme caters for medical care to all ESM pensioners including those earning Disability and Family Pension and their dependents, which includes wife/husband, dependent legitimate children, and wholly dependent parents. To be eligible for membership of ECHS, a person must meet the following twin conditions:

Should have ESM status.

Should be drawing normal Service / Disability / Family Pension.

Maharashtra Police Kutumb Arogya Yojana (MPKAY)

MPKAY is a government-funded scheme for the executive police force, which covers police personnel and their family members for cashless treatment in MPKAY panelled private hospitals all across Maharashtra. It is a combination of Maharashtra State Government Employee Reimbursement Scheme and Rate Schedule of CGHS. TPSA plays a major role in the scheme as a coordinator between the hospital and the police department.

MPKAY covers the ailments included under the State Government Reimbursement Scheme, i.e., 27 acute ailments and major 5 (Attached Diseases List).

Maharashtra Building and Other Construction Workers Board (MBOCWW) - T2T

The Government of Maharashtra is implementing the Test to Treatment Health Scheme throughout the state for treating serious ailments requiring hospitalization. The scheme provides financial protection to families living below the poverty line up to Rs. 1.5 lakhs in a year. The objective of the scheme is to improve access of BPL families to quality medical care through an identified network of healthcare providers. A total of 975 (surgical & medical) procedures in identified specialties are covered under the schemes.

The identified network hospitals are required to implement all Test to Treatment Health Schemes of MBOCWWB sponsored by the Government of Maharashtra.

Eligibility for MBOCWW:

To be eligible for healthcare under the Maharashtra Building and Other Construction Workers Board (MBOCWW), you must meet the following requirements:

  • Be a construction worker or family member who is a resident outside of Maharashtra.
  • Be registered with the MBOCWW.

Required Documents:

You may also need to provide the following documents:

  • Proof of identity, such as an Aadhaar card, driver's license, ration card, passport, or electoral card.
  • A nomination form signed by the applicant.
  • A self-declaration that you are not a member of any other welfare fund or board.
  • Active registration renewal slip.
